Re: Alpha 24 – download at your peril (probably)
I updated the Archlinux package to make use of the (experimental) new torrent distribution system that I envision to eliminate our dependency on sourceforge in the future. I don't see this being useful for installing .debs, but as an option for other installation methods, definitely a good thing. I...

'sudo apt-get install unvanquished' returns an exit status 1 from the unvanquished-common install script. E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1) thanks for breaking my system.... New telenode!Shiny new telenode model from Warvinc . The beam eff...

Re: Sensor Design
I think there shouldn't be reliability issues, otherwise the structure becomes partly useless since you still had to check back your base manually. If it covers the full range of a corridor and can't be killed from a distance, it should always issue a warning. Apparent size is what I'm thinking of ...

Re: The old renderer will be dead soon!
1.) The vanilla renderer is irritating to maintain and displays things very poorly. Not strictly true. Yes, there's the maintenance aspect (why maintain two renderers?); but, that aside, it does work well. 2.) Very few people use it, and the number will only drop over the years as people get newer ...

The only problem which I can see is the feet – you're into safety hazard territory with them…!
