Tournament servers haven't been updated yet pending possible rebalancing, though maybe they should be regardless of that so that people who are using Alpha 18 can connect to them.

Debian and Ubuntu packages (squeeze, wheezy, sid; 12.04, 12.10, 13.04) may work on derivatives

The armour was opaque, but only from one side. From certain angles, the inside is visible – and, since the inside wasn't rendered, you would be able to see out through the armour. The change is to cause both sides to be rendered.

Try deleting the file inside the unv dir. If that fixes it, tell me, that must mean that something was messed on our end and I'll fix it.

Delete msvcp100.dll solved the problem, thank you. We will have to modify the installer accordingly. :granger:

Just love this game, and excited about this new release!
Sadly, a launching error using Ubuntu 13.04 i386: Error during initialization. See "/home/ubu1304games/.Unvanquished/main/crashlog.txt" for details.

Are you using debs to install? Also, could you post the full output of crashlog.txt in the the Troubleshooting forum?
