Trying the new version in an updated server "gg.illwieckz.net {le frag courtois} 0.52.1" I found that in this updated server, the game made me quit spontaneously, directing me to the unvanquished start screen, twice in five minutes.

Re: 0.52.1
Open the homepath https://wiki.unvanquished.net/wiki/Temp ... _Locations, then the "crashdump" directory, and check if there are any recent files with a name like crash-nacl-SGame-1616370527959.dmp. If so then email one of those to slipher@protonmail.com.
If there aren't any files in crashump, then post the contents of the file daemon.log, found in the homepath. (It must be after a session in which the bug occurred; if you ran Unvanquished again since then it won't help.)

Re: 0.52.1
Thanks. I can't be certain of exactly what the problem is, but I've proposed a code change to hopefully fix it: https://github.com/Unvanquished/Unvanquished/pull/1441

Re: 0.52.1
lautre on IRC discovered that the crash occurs when selecting the "Lowest" graphics preset. It can be prevented by selecting "Low" or higher.
Re: 0.52.1
In my case I found that when the "Particle physics" option is not activated the game disconnects.
Re: 0.52.1
Yeah it's one of the options disabled by the lowest preset.

I'm currently hosting a fix for evaluation on my “gg.illwieckz.net” servers.
On my end it seems to work properly.
