The trial is for about 10 days, Weblate isn't free (not gratis) but can be free (gratis) for us if we submit our Unvanquished project as an open source one and if they accept our submission.
So, those who are interested in such topic may create accounts on weblate and have a look at it and give their opinion here.

All the technical side is now properly configured. Doing translation work on Weblate produces commits that are automatically submitted to our repository as a pull request, for example: https://github.com/Unvanquished/Unvanquished/pull/2632. This means all translators will be properly credited in git history.

I tried it. Seems fine except for poor loading times. Moving from one sentence to the next lags the better part of a second, as if doing a full page load.
