To me, eyes are just a "weakpoint." I don't think the overmind will have a function like "Oh shit i see a human with a painsaw! He's gonna saw my eyes out!" ability so i guess it shouldn't need them.

If you plan on acting like dick then take your stupid beliefs elsewhere.
I would've come up with arguments if I cared, but I don't because it's a waste of time and I'm lazy.
This is off topic because you can't accept that your ideas are stupid and you keep trying to defend them.
People have different opinions about what looks good and what doesn't. Flaming people because of those opinions is pretty pointless.
