Re: Animation progress
Are all the maps active in that render? I'm just curious of how the normal and spec maps are behaving in different programs. There have been some troubles. =S You may already know it but there should be an alpha channel in the diffuse map that can mask out the teeth.
Damn its good to see it moving around, gawwwd dammnnn aweesomee >.<
- ooo I just noticed it looks like the back of his head pops through his back on the taunt. Prob my bad for making the back of his head so long :S
oh and do you plan to do any pathetic clawing with his little baby arms? :P
Re: Animation progress
That video is a screencast from blender viewport, so it's only diffuse what is active. But I've made few renders and there were no noticeable troubles, so no worries :) And I've noticed the need of alpha map, yes :)
glad you like it :)
About back of his head, I know about that, but i decided to sacrifice it to make taunt look effective.
Haven't planned anything with those baby arm, but i'm all ears about your ideas.

Re: Animation progress
Great to hear about the textures :)
I've got a couple of ideas about animations :P
As for the little arms, I thought they might raise to more of an attack position with the taunt, or perhaps swipe a little. As the Tyrant can't really bend his body downwards, I added the little arms to help bring whatever he's trying to grab closer to his mouth. I know you can't really show this with the animation unless you have him literally interacting with another character but I thought I'd mention it in case it gives you any ideas. I noticed his mandibles are very static, perhaps some twitching? Also I always imagined him using his large front claws to help distribute his weight when walking, sort of helping him drag himself forward. Although I can understand if that would cause problems matching any of his attack stances.
