Khaoz, what do you think of altering the design so that the main body and head are closer to the basilisk in appearance?

This is what I think the Shrike should look like.
It's leaning more on the reptilian side (as apposed to insect) of the spectrum - whilst keeping a sort of carapace on it's back.
As per request from Kharnov it does somewhat resemble the basilisk.

It needs feet, since it can also walk on the floor (and possibly also on the wall). It will do some sort of jump/pounce to go in the air.
For the in air melee attack, some sort of claws would be desireable, too.
In order to fit into a bounding box, you should make the tail significantly shorter. We can probably use one small bounding box for ground and another flat but long and wide one for air.
